Driving the Truck Home – Day 2

The truck is a 2000 Ford F-150. I’ve been driving it since last Friday, and I’m really happy with it.

The cool thing about Texas rest area is that about 50% of them have wifi access.

The Trading Post in New Mexico was one of those cool tourist traps. There were at least 10 billboards before I got the the place. I had to go in. Bought some chili jelly while I was there.

  1. That’s really a nice looking truck! Those are some pretty cool pics too. Maybe you can tell us where you are headed back to??

  2. Sorry about that. I live in Las Vegas. The trip was about 1300 miles, and I was able to get it done in 2 1/2 days. Luckily the seats are pretty comfortable in that truck 🙂

  3. It looked like ya had nice weather for the trip earlier in the week right? That trip sure beats workin for half a week…by far, glad ya enjoyed it!

  4. [97 F-150/PioneerDEH-5] I touched the yellow wire and blk to the battery post, nothing lit up, I hope that is not a bad sign. The radio is an 03 brand new in the box still taped up.
